Thursday coffee is in Balwyn this week - 2nd October- Details on the calendar

On Saturday Motorcycle Awareness Month kicks off in Queensbridge Square, Southbank Melbourne from 10.30AM

The Odyssey (and VBC) are coming up the following weekend at Wangaratta.

·         Please RSVP on the actual events listed in our calendar

·         I’m leading a ride up starring from Lilydale on Frdiay 10th October and can meet any coming from the north and west at Yea around 11.00AM – please let me know if you plan to do this so I don’t ride on without you.  I still hope to visit Cheviot Tunnel enroute and then go via Gobur & Creightons Creek to Euroa for a rest / fuel break then a bit of freeway to Benalla and then the silo route north and Warby Ranges before arriving in Wangaratta in ample time for Friday BBQ.

·         I’m aware others are going independently and in smaller groups

·         There will be a Saturday ride starting a bit later than normal after VBC from near the Aroma Deli Café   

·         Main thing – come along and enjoy the camaraderie over the weekend and please RSVP as it really helps Brian with Saturday night dinner arrangements               

A few days later on Wednesday 15th, the October Branch social night is scheduled.  We’ll have plenty to discuss so please come along.  Again – Please RSVP via our website calendar.

The Moto GP is on 17 – 19th October and the members forum shows a member is looking for someone to ride down with on the Sunday.  Please check the forum.

Quite a few members are heading off a ride in Tasmania at the end of the month, and I wish them well.  Rides will still be scheduled for those who aren’t going.   

I’m doing a ride to Flinders on Sunday, 26th October and I’m afraid we will get some road works before we get to Mornington.     Hopefully the ride along the bay from Mornington to Dromana with bay views (before the summer busyness) will make up for that and the picnic spot at Flinders provides views to Phillip Island. 

Christmas Related Branch Events

·         The Branch Christmas Function is scheduled on Thursday 11th December at the Mulgrave Club.  A separate room has been booked for the function to enhance our camaraderie.  Do come along.

·         PLEASE also RSVP via the calendar on this website it makes things so much better for people like Brian who give so much time to organising these events for our enjoyment.   

The Branch President’s Pre Christmas ride is scheduled for the following Sunday, 14th December from Lilydale to Coolart Homestead.  Our only visit to that site by Westernport this year and it is worth a visit.       Check the website calendar for details
