In spite of forecast rain it turned out to be a beautiful day for riding as Colin took a dozen of us from Lilydale along some back roads to Healesville with an unexpected detour up a little side road near Healesville. From there it was across the delightful Myers Creek Road to Toolangi, along the Break O’ Day and Strath Creek roads and to a nice new cafe at Broadford for morning tea break where Paul left us for a family commitment.

Suitably refreshed we headed for Pyalong and some more great roads before doing the Burke & Wills Track with no traffic and down to Riddells Creek for lunch. Even the short dirt section was quite happily ridden by the group.
