Hi Graeme. I am not familiar with the Fodsports GPS so I looked it up on Google and got the following result. Maybe this will help you.

To reset the date on a Fodsports GPS, you'll typically need to ensure it has a satellite signal, which will automatically correct the date, or perform a system reset using the pinhole reset button. Check the device manual for specific instructions, as some models might require a software update through a separate program to fix time-related issues.

Method 1: Wait for satellite connection

  • What it does: Most GPS units, including many Fodsports models, automatically set the correct date and time once they establish a connection with GPS satellites.

  • How to do it:

  1. Take your device to an open area with a clear view of the sky.

  2. Power it on and wait for it to connect to a sufficient number of satellites.

  3. The date and time should update automatically.

Please keep checking the calendar.

While we have people on the Mediterranean and the other side of Bass Strait,

We have still scheduled a ride for this Sunday.

The Victorian Branches Memorial Ride (hosted by Macedon Ranges) is set for the 9th November

Social night should be 19th November

Please check out the Christmas function. We'd love some RSVPs to assist with planning and can cope with the odd cancellation. Please bring your significant other with you.

Last night I received this update about next Sunday's Memorial Ride;

"2025 Victorian Memorial Ride

Notice for all those attending this year’s ride. There will be a slight change in the event proceedings as the major upgrade to the area leading to and around the Cross itself has not been completed as planned.

The planned ride will now leave Centennial Park at 11.45 as originally stated, and travel up to the Mt Macedon Cross carpark.

We will then continue through the carpark, exiting and travel back to Centennial Park for a brief service. This will be followed by BBQ lunch at a nominal fee.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Regards,

This Sunday's ride is now a mystery ride from Officer due to events around the peninsula.

Please check the calendar. Road closures and events on the Peninsula made my original plan impractical. If anyone is silly enough to turn up at Officer despite the weather forecast we'll sort a route out on the day and after checking the actual weather. Cheers John Cook 0419 599 530
