Spring is in the air 😎

If you’re not receiving emails and information from the Ulysses Club, it is probably time to check your membership, ensure your membership is current and that the Administration Office has your current email address.  I recently received one asking for feedback with regard to rider training. 

·         I’d recommend you consider additional rider training if you’ve never done any since you got your licence.   

·         It’s been a while for me now, but time spent improving observation, cornering and braking skills are never wasted when it comes to enjoying riding safely.     

·         The Ulysses Club provides a rebate to members who undertake rider training.

·         The club is also asking for feedback from members who have done rider training in the past 10 years.

Check the Calendar for the Branch Odyssey (3 days) in mid October, and Faux Snowy (6 days) end October/Melbourne Cup weekend.

Ulysses Club National Committee has commenced a search for nominations for the above award which includes financial assistance of $1,000 for zone winners and $2,000 for the national winner. So if you know of an apprentice who could benefit from the award put him or her forward.

Thanks to input from some new ride leaders plus some regulars the ride calendar has been filled until the end of July - Thanks to everyone involved especially people such as Reece last week and Peter next week.

Ride have been very well attended and reports have been written. Please check for ride reports under "Groups"

More rides and events have been planned into the future, so again keep an eye on the calendar. If you're going to the Odyssey, we really recommend you contact Painters Island and book your accommodation as they won't keep holding cabins for us.

A reminder that applications for partial registration refunds finish at the end of July, so if you're interested do something about it.
