Spring is in the air 😎

If you’re not receiving emails and information from the Ulysses Club, it is probably time to check your membership, ensure your membership is current and that the Administration Office has your current email address.  I recently received one asking for feedback with regard to rider training. 

·         I’d recommend you consider rider additional rider training if you’ve never done any since you got your licence.   

·         It’s been a while for me now, but time spent improving observation, cornering and braking skills are never wasted when it comes to enjoying riding safely.     

·         The Ulysses Club provides a rebate to members who undertake order training.

·         The club is also asking for feedback from members who have done rider training in the past 10 years.

I have been contacted by a member regarding comprehensive insurance.   From my understanding, Swann Insurance has stopped trading, and its underwriting has been taken over by RACV in Victoria.  Members have had mixed experiences with this.  A member rang me yesterday and advised that after a lot of shopping around, he found his best quote via RACV and that it included his RACV membership.    I’ve heard of other members going elsewhere.   I note the Ulysses Club advertises National Motorcycle Insurance.     

My opinion, always check when you get your renewal notice.  Prices vary widely.

Ride Calendar

Many thanks to all the people who have helped keep the ride calendar full right through winter, and to all the people coming along.
