About a dozen of us met up at Epping to join Mike’s amended (café closures due to school holidays) ride to Yara Glen.  It was quite a cool start to the day however it stayed dry and sunny as forecast.

Mike led on his Moto Guzzi,

Ian did TEC on his Suzuki,

we had a couple of Yamahas, lots of “boxers” and I rode my Honda as usual.

We did a bit of suburbia,

rode north to Whittlesea and enjoyed some lovely bends before riding on via Wandong to Broadford.  We then enjoyed more back roads through to Seymour where we stopped for a cuppa, chat and rest break.

We rode the Goulburn Valley Highway to Yea and then used some more backroads before stopping in Yarra Glen for lunch. 

Thanks Mike and all who came along. Ian and I then rode home to the Dandenong Ranges and that included some diversions

past Yarra Valley vineyards.

A reminder to put your clocks forward next Saturday night or you may be late for next Sunday’s ride to Willow Grove.
